My Community Involvement

Community Involvement is very important for an individual to be recognized. I happen to be a very social person and love community involvement. There isn't much one can do to get involved yet there is enough things to gain recognition in the community. I've been involved in my community through various channels. As mentioned earlier, my personal business allowed me to operate on a very small geographic scale. However, I sold many items to people around the GTA and sometimes had repetitive customers or people being referred by those old customers. I believe it was an important recognition because there is many people now outside my social circle who know me and know what I do. In my opinion, with regards to business, this is very important because if a person is not somehow involved in the community and not recognized, chances are that if they open up a business some day they will initially not be very well recognized in their community. This is related to my career goals since one of my career goals involve opening up my own business and I think recognition is a very key issue for its successful establishment as people would know who I am and could trust me better.
